Dear Judie,
After 20 years with the same physician, Mom (70) decided the change doctors. She says the practice is too big and she always has to wait 40-60 minutes. She wants to go where she'll be treated better. I told her to stay with her own doctor. She said to ask you.

Dear Mom (and Brian),
You're right to expect a shorter wait period from your doctor. It's always been a mystery to me why patients accept and pay for services from medical professionals who show their disrespect by regularly overbooking and making ill patients wait 40-60 minutes past their appointment times. Express your dissatisfaction to your doctor and if nothing changes, move on.
